    We provide hair care education, coaching, and consultations for mothers of young children and adults. Our educational and literacy offerings include online courses (all-inclusive and self-paced), e-books, tip cards and tailored hair product/hair care recommendations/usage guides.
  2. What is included in your online courses?
    Our courses cover foundational principles in hair health, practical techniques, and strategies for managing afro-textured hair in a way that promotes length and reduces damage. We offer online courses targeted at handling washdays and all-around healthy hair care for children. Online courses for adults coming soon.
  3. Do you offer in-person consultations?
    All consultations are conducted online, allowing us to serve clients globally with the convenience of virtual meetings. Dates and times for the virtual consultations are scheduled to be convenient for clients.
  4. What is the difference between a consultation and coaching?

A consultation is a one-on-one session with MummyMo, split into 2 parts over 6 weeks (an initial deep dive session and a follow-up session), focused on diagnosing specific hair care challenges and offering actionable recommendations. Coaching with MummyMo involves ongoing guidance and support over a substantial amount of time to diagnose your hair care issues and help you implement a personalised hair care plan and achieve long-term goals. We have coaching plans spanning 6 weeks to 12 weeks, so clients can find the best fit.

Products and Tools

 

  1. What kind of hair care products do you sell?
    We sell a range of products for kids and adults on an affiliate basis. Products available include shampoos, conditioners, hair mist, anti-itch products, scalp care products, edge repair products and oils from trusted manufacturers like African Naturalistas and Mara Cruiz Organics. Shopping links can be found in the tab on the home page of our website.
  2. Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?
    Yes, the products on offer are made from natural and organic ingredients, which are suitable for young children and individuals with sensitive skin. African Naturalistas children’s products are safe from infancy, while Mara Cruiz children’s products are suitable from 3 months.   3. What hair tools do you recommend?
    We highly recommend wood/bamboo wide-tooth combs, soft bamboo brushes, and microfiber towels to ensure gentle and effective hair care. Hair scissors, sectioning clips, spray bottles and steaming caps are also recommended for healthy hair management.
  4. Do you offer gift options for the products you sell?

Yes, we provide curated gift sets for children, including hair care essentials and tools. Perfect for birthdays, holidays, a new baby or any special occasion. Contact us to customize a gift package.

Orders and Shipping (currently on hold)

 

  1. Do you ship internationally?
    Yes, we ship to multiple locations. Shipping rates and delivery times depend on your location and the weight of your order. Please reach out to us if you are interested in this.
  2. How can I track my order?
    You will receive a tracking link once your order has been dispatched for interstate orders within Nigeria and internationally. For further assistance or orders within Lagos, kindly contact our support team on WhatsApp:+2348177771984.
  3. Can I return or exchange a product?
    You can return a product for up to 48 hours from the date you received it, should you no longer want it. The item(s) must be returned in their original condition with all packaging. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. After 48 hours, all sales are final.
  4. Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

    Begin with washing on a consistent schedule, regular moisturizing, gentle detangling and protective styling. For detailed guidance, kindly book a consultation, purchase a tip card or enrol in one of our courses.
  2. What hairstyles are best for kids to prevent hair damage?
    We recommend low/no-manipulation styles without synthetic extensions like twists or braids without tight pulling, loose cornrows, paired with regular hair hydration.
  3. Can I repair my child’s damaged hairline?
    Yes, recovery is possible with consistent care, the right products, eliminating causative factors and protective styles. Our coaching programs and consultation sessions provide personalised strategies for hairline recovery. 
  4. How can I encourage my child to enjoy their hair care routine? 

Incorporate fun elements like storytime, books and toys during hair care sessions, use brightly coloured tools, and let them choose their hairstyles from time to time. A positive attitude from you can make hair care an enjoyable bonding experience

    Yes, we offer follow-ups to ensure you stay on track with your hair care journey. 
  4. Do I need prior knowledge about hair care to join your courses?

No prior knowledge is required. Our courses are beginner-friendly and designed to guide you step-by-step, whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to refine your hair care techniques. You also have the opportunity to ask MummyMo questions if you get stuck at any point in your learning experience.
